Kennisdossier CAPE

Computersimulaties zijn tegenwoordig onontbeerlijk bij het ontwikkelen, ontwerpen en besturen van productieprocessen. De ontwikkelingen op dit gebied gaan hard. Het is voor bedrijven van belang om te weten wat er aan software te verkrijgen is of binnenkort beschikbaar zal zijn. Er bestaan reeds tientallen softwareprogramma's. In dit dossier vindt u relevante informatie.

Procesintegratie is een van de methoden om attractieve procesaanpassingen te bepalen. Het speelt een belangrijke rol in het verbeteren van de energie-efficiëntie van industriële processen en de vermindering van de milieubelasting door deze processen. Door een exergieanalyse te maken van de energie- en processtromen in industriële processen wordt inzichtelijk waar er in die processen verbeterpotentieel aanwezig is.

    The Dutch national platform for Computer Aided Process Engineering was established under the auspicies of the Dutch Process Engineers (KIvI/KNCV/NIRIA) as a national focal point for the Working Party CAPE of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFChE). Universities, research institutes, engineering consultants and industrial companies are represented in this working party.
