Ministry of VROM, dossier: biofuels.
VROM is responsible for implementing the European Biofuels Guideline and integrating this into national legislation. Information on the Netherlands' policies can be found here.
International Energy Agency.
The EIA acts as policy advisor for a wide range of energy-based subjects for its 27 global member states. The subjects are split into Implementing Agreements (IAs), which are then further split into separate task groups (Tasks).
Task 39
The participants of IEA Task 39 make recommendations on the implementation of biofuels as part of the Bio-Energy Implementing Agreement

or EBB, is a non-profit organisation aiming to promote the use of biodiesel in the EU and to represent the most important biodiesel manufacturers.
European Bioethanol Fuel Association,
known as E-Bio, is a trade organisation to promote the production and use of bioethanol.
VNBI,
Vereniging Nederlandse Biodiesel Industrie (Dutch biodiesel industry association). An association of eight biodiesel producers in the Netherlands.
RSPO
Round table on Sustainable Palmoil. The RSPO promotes the cultivation, trade and use of sustainable palm oil. The RSPO has set up criteria for the sustainable production and processing of palm oil.
RTRS
Round Table for Responsible Soy. The RTRS promotes the cultivation, trade and use of sustainable soya oil. The RTRS is currently defining criteria for the sustainable production and processing of soya oil.
RSB
Round table of Sustainable Biofuels. The RSB is an international initiative that, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, has defined sustainability criteria for the production and processing of biofuels.
BIOPEC,
BIOmass Production Export and Certification. An initiative to develop a programme to set up private partnerships for the import of certified sustainable biomass.
