Our Mission Statement
We aim to implement government policies on innovation, environment and sustainability in inspiring, forward-looking and professional ways and to promote their coherence. We get cost-effective quantifiable results, applying the best possible mix of policy instruments based on experience and synergy.
Our Vision
To strive for more prosperity and welfare for current and future generations requires economic growth and a competitive, innovation-based economy. Growth should be sustainable, though, to enable future generations to grow up in a healthy environment without overuse of limited resources. The interplay between sustainability and innovation is able to mitigate the negative effects of economic growth.
Core values
The core values provide focus and unity and offer a framework for achieving the desired culture, or the way in which we at NL Agency interact with each other and with our clients and target groups. We communicate our core values internally and externally.

Our key message is also our organisation profile and is included on the reverse of our publications, at the end of press releases and in corporate texts. We incorporate the key message(s) of the commissioning ministries in our publications, given that these are linked to the content of the publication in question.
NL Agency, for innovation and sustainability
NL Agency strives to achieve a strong innovative business community in a safe and supportive, sustainable society and promotes sustainable economic growth by building a bridge between the market and government, at both national and international levels. NL Agency provides companies, (knowledge) institutions and government authorities with advice, knowledge and financial support. We bring parties together who have a passion for a sustainable and innovative society.
NL Agency is an agency of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and implements national government policy in a professional, effective and inspiring way by order of the State government.
