About us Energy Transition’s Interdepartmental Programme Management (IPM)
In the IPM, six ministries work together: Economic Affairs; Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment; Transport, Public Works and Water Management; Agriculture, Nature Management and Food Quality; Foreign Affairs; and Finance. The IPM initiates, "pulls," and "powers" energy transition; it ensures effective interdepartmental policy compatibility; stimulates dialog between the national government and society; and promotes connection and visibility of Energy Transition’s activities.
The board of six general directors This board manages the basics of Energy Transition in the name of the six ministers. It contains the general directors the six ministries: Economic Affairs, Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, Transport, Public Works and Water Management, Agriculture, Nature Management and Food Quality, Foreign Affairs and Finance.
Energy Transition platforms
In each platform innovative business people, trendsetting companies, knowledge institutes and creative non-governmental organizations (NGOs) work together on central themes in Energy Transition. Each platform, with a non-governmental chairperson, plays a stimulating roll to get the market moving and to find new ways to realize sustainable initiatives. The platforms are New Gas and Clean Fossil Fuels, Sustainable Mobility, Green Raw Materials, Chain Efficiency, Sustainable Electricity, Built Environment and the 'Greenhouse as Energy Source' platform.
