Monitoring and e-MJV Companies and institutions in the Netherlands that that take part in the LTA, are required to submit every year on the progress they have made with implementing the long-term agreements on energy efficiency. Until 2004, LTA participants filled up an Excel spreadsheet. However, the three relevant Government Ministers recommended integrating the monitoring LTA into the so-called 'e-MJV', an electronic system for processing environmental year reports. In that way, all parties involved would be able to data process and communicate with each other by Internet. After a detailed pilot, the LTA Platform has decided that from 2005 on all monitoring reports will be an integrated part of the e-MJV-system.
E-MJV: What’s in it for LTA participants? - 'One stop shopping': the Internet application provides both companies and the competent authority with spreadsheets, data records, relevant information and an electronic helpdesk.
- All data are confidential and only accessible by means of a username, password and a personal code.
