Energy efficiency Process efficiency
Knowledge and examples of best pratices in order to improve energy effciency are only available in Dutch.
Chain efficiency and renewable energy Saving more than just the energy consumed to manufacture products: this is a major challenge for organizations taking part in the Long-Term Agreements on energy efficiency (LTA). Energy efficiency product development (EEPD) is designed to improve energy efficiency at all stages of a product's life cycle, from the raw material stage up to and including disposal. EEPD and renewable energy cover savings on energy from fossil fuels, much of which is achieved outside the company itself. The possibilities for attaining these goals are often surprising in their nature and scope. Concrete measures for achieving EEPD include sustainable products, sustainable industrial estates and the optimization of transport, logistics and product chains.
Energy Management System More and more organizations and businesses are opting to take action to conserve energy or to use it more efficiently. This renders profit: both financially and for the environment. Sadly, however, the results of such efforts are often only temporary. Once attention for energy fades, the energy consumption increases. This is why SenterNovem developed the Energy Management System.
